Dordrecht is easily accessible by car and public transport. Water buses provide public transport over water.
Part of the city center has limited access to car traffic.
By car
Dordrecht is located on the A16 between Breda and Rotterdam and is also quickly accessible from the A15. Parking is free for the first 24 hours in the Weeskinderendijk car park.

The car-free area in the historic city center gives pedestrians space.

Dordrecht Central railway station is less than ten minutes' walk to the city center.
