Can you separate colored kinetic sand after they are mixed?

Nee, kinetic sand of different colors is impossible to separate back into individual colors after you mix them. It is therefore wise not to use the colors together, although this is sometimes difficult with smaller children.

It's actually just like with clay, it's best in the beginning when all the colors are still perfectly separated from each other, but if they play with it by making a green house with a red roof, for example, it will mix a bit.
