De LEGO City 4×4 Off-Roader is a nice set that provides a lot of fun. My kids love bouncing around with it.
The set is quite sturdy, but some small parts can fall off, so you have to be careful not to lose anything.

Overall rating
The recommended age from six years old is reasonable. My son got this set for his fifth birthday and he put it together pretty well.
However, there are some technical LEGO parts that are small and more difficult for him to assemble. However, the system with the elastic bands for the suspension was quite simple.
What I like about this set is that the adventurers really go off-roading and they have their bikes with them to enjoy the scenery. They even have a small camera to take pictures. This also encourages playing outside and discovering nature.
There are also fun extras, such as a mountain path where they can cycle and even a small scorpion.
Another nice detail is that the bikes fit in the back of the off-road vehicle. There is also a tent included where the adventurers can sleep after a day of cycling.
While I find it a bit odd that they chose flaps to make the tent with, the little sleeping bags were added as stickers which is a nice touch.
One downside of this truck is that my son, and probably all children, often grab the vehicle by the glass window (the windshield) and that comes off very easily. Although this is necessary for one of the adventurers in the auto can be frustrating as the windshield keeps coming off during gameplay. This usually left the car on the side, when it actually looks nicer with the windshield on.
In general, this is a great gift even if your child is five years old. My son was able to put it together almost all by himself with just a little help. The set consists of 252 pieces and can be built in about an hour, especially if you're doing it with a five-year-old. The dimensions of the 4×4 off-roader are also reasonable.
However, I think this set is too difficult for children under the age of four, especially since the windshield comes off.
Plus I think they'll play too rough with a LEGO car like this when it's not really meant to be thrown around heavily.
After all, it remains LEGO, even though the car is quite sturdy and the suspension looks great.
All in all, I think it's a nice set with some minor drawbacks, but still recommended for young adventurers and LEGO enthusiasts.
